The arrival alone is an experience: In Kandersteg, where everybody makes a halt on the famous Lötschberg-Centre Line that runs from North to South. Crystal clear mountain lakes, original traditions, glaciers, cosy alpine huts and lush meadows characterize one of the most varying regions in the Alps.
In addition to Kandersteg and the unique Lötschental, Reichenbach, the Kiental and Gampel-Bratsch are real secret tips. The decorated mountain villages have preserved their natural rural character. A broad, multifarious offer of hotels, holiday apartments, mountain guesthouses, camping sites, as well as informal restaurants bestows the townships and villages of the Bernese Oberland with charm.
The Lötschberg holiday region in winter - a Winter Wonderland, an Eldorado for alpine skiers, cross-country skiers and hikers.
Family friendly ski areas for beginners and experts await down-hill skiers and snow-boarders in the Lötschen valley and Kandersteg.
