A mountain village in the heart of Switzerland.Lying in the heart of the Alps, the cosy village of Andermatt offers guaranteed snow.
The Gemsstock, nearly 3000 m high, is very well known: not only skiers but, most of all, lovers of deep snow find ideal conditions here. Carvers can carve out their turns on a separate piste. The sunny ski slopes of Nätschen are quiet and particularly suitable for families. The ski slopes of the idyllic neighbouring resort of Hospental/Winterhorn and the children's ski lift at Realp are only a short excursion away.
How to get there
Public Transport: A 2 hour ride from Zürich, Luzern and Lugano; 3 hours from Bern and Basel. In Göschenen transfer to the Matterhorn Gotthard train.
By car: A 90 minute drive from Zürich and Lugano. The drive is quick and comfortable on Autobahn A2. From the Göschenen exit, it will take you only 10 minutes to reach Andermatt.
