Land of light: Villars-Gryon seems so bright and sunny that it feels as if it lies nearer to the sky.
It has happily made a name for itself as a family destination focusing on offering superbly prepared pistes as well as variety. Those wanting to cover greater distances, however, can follow the link to Les Diablerets and up to Glacier 3000 – to access a total of 220 km of piste covered by the lift pass. Also notable about Villars is the enormous range of accommodation, from B&B to five-star hotel – as well as the exceptionally lively programme of local events and activities.

How to get there
Public Transport: SBB train from Geneva Airport (in the direction of Lausanne-Sion) up to Aigle (1 hour 10 min.), then by bus to Villars (35 min.) or SBB train from Geneva Airport (in the direction of Lausanne-Sion) up to Bex (1 hour 15 min.) and BVB train to Villars (35 min.)
By car: 115 km from Geneva Airport (1 hour 20 min.).
Autobahn A1 to Lausanne, then Autobahn A9 from Lausanne in the direction of Martigny-Sion, exit Aigle and then main road to Villars.
