This fascinating museum, the only one of its kind, brings to life the exciting story of the Matterhorn: from its origins in Africa to the terrifying drama of the first ascent and up to the present day.

Children

Unique in Switzerland: children up to the age of 9 ski for free; on Saturdays, even those up to age 16 ski for free. The ski schools provide childcare for the whole day with the children’s park and the kindergarten (indoor) from 9 am through to 3.30 pm, making skiing and playing in the snow doubly fun.
