Number one: Savognin rolls out the carpet for families: the longest covered magic carpet in Switzerland, to be precise.
At 171 m long, it brings even the youngest skiers up to new heights, while on the Rotondo carousel they have fun learning to balance, slide and turn. Older children swear by the Magicparc and the Railpark. In all, 22 runs, extra-wide pistes and a whole load of fun-gadgets for sliding down the slopes make for variety – and the Cube a "homebase" for nightlife. When it comes to family holidays, even the guidebooks agree: Savognin is number one.
Top tip
Glide on skates through forests and over fields… When temperatures are sufficiently low, a hiking trail in the Albula is converted into the Surava Skateline: a natural ice track, three metres wide and three kilometres long.
