Sattel-Hochstuckli in summer
Sattel-Hochstuckli is located in the Alpine foothills of Canton Schwyz, right in the heart of Switzerland. There is lots of fun, sport and adventure to be had there in summer. The offering is as attractive as it is wide ranging: the Stuckli Rondo cable car (the world's first rotating cable car), a tin toboggan, trampoline and bouncy castle, Roller Park (Europe's largest skating park with ramps, rails, streets etc., bungee trampoline, climbing tower, beach volleyball field, trampolines, table tennis, inline training), plus walking, hiking and mountaineering trails in all the splendour of unspoiled nature with views of the Alps. Sattel-Hochstuckli in winter
Family-friendly skiing in the Alpine foothills of Central Switzerland. Compact and sunny with guaranteed snow cover and none of the dangers of Alpine skiing. The 14 km of pistes accessed by four lifts (cable car, ski-lifts) make this an ideal setting for winter sports surrounded by enchanting mountain scenery. Skiing, snowboarding, sledging and winter hiking in the heart of Switzerland. The start of the Schwyz Ski Safari (the Hochstuckli-Alpthal-Mythen region). Plus guided snowshoe treks for both groups and private individuals. A free Kinderland for children with drag-lift and magic carpet (conveyor belt).
How to get there
Public Transport:
- By train from Zürich via Wädenswil/Pfäffikon and Rothenthurm to Sattel (approx. 1 hour)
- From Schwyz with the Auto AG Schwyz (AAGS) to Sattel, cable car (16 mins.)
- From Zug by bus via Oberägeri to the Sattel terminus, cable car (53 mins.)
- From Lucerne by train via Arth-Goldau to Sattel-Ägeri (approx. 1 hour), on foot to Sattel (10 mins.), cable car
By car:
- From Zürich via the Zürich-Chur motorway to the Schindellegi exit; there follow the signs to Schwyz (approx. 40 mins.)
- From Zug via Aegerital (approx. 20 mins.)
- From Lucerne via the Zug-Schwyz motorway to the Schwyz exit; there follow the signs to Pfäffikon-Sattel (approx. 40 mins.)
