In summer, our mountains offer a broad and varied network of routes (350 km) for both serious Alpine mountaineers as well as hikers. The Mattmark reservoir has the biggest natural dam in Europe - a favourite destination for walkers and mountain bikers. The Alpine promenade above Saas Grund is an informative and spectacular walk. Guided tours through the Alpine Gorge canyon and over the via ferrata Jägihorn.

In winter, the Saas ski pass opens up an attractive arena with more than 140 km of ski and snowboard pistes in the different areas of Saas Almagell, Saas Grund and Saas Fee. Or enjoy a winter tour along our 26 km of Saastal cross-country tracks through larch forests with frozen brooks - or experience a night-time sledging party along the 11 km trail from Kreuzboden to Saas Grund.
