Wellness unlimited: Around four million litres of thermal spring water gush out of the rock every day at Leukerbad – more than anywhere else in Europe.
It flows into whirlpool baths and steam baths, supplies massage showers and saunas, feeds 22 swimming pools and contributes to 250 different wellness treatments. More variety awaits outdoors: 50 km of well-prepared pistes up on Torrent, idyllic cross-country ski trails on the Gemmi pass, and 40 km of winter walking paths. Located at a heady 1,411 m, bathed in the purest mountain air, this celebrated spa village refreshes all the senses.
Top tip
The Lindner Alpentherme has built a new sauna complex. In an area extending over 300 m2, Valais-style chalets house a herbal sauna, a saunarium, a Finnish sauna, a stone bath, a village-style snack bar and a Valaisian quiet room.
