The natural beauties of this region set between the impressive Grimsel, Susten and Brünig alpine passes, and the turquoise blue of Lake Brienz will never cease to amaze you, whilst your host will welcome you with wide-open arms!
Enjoy relaxing moments and exciting activities, here amongst the 316 mountains, 37 glaciers, 158 lakes, 19 waterfalls and 14 gorges. The Alpen tower Express from Reuti to Mägisalp brings you right into the heart of an attractive snow paradise, where Muggestutz the Hasli Dwarf waits to welcome the younger guests.

Winter sports

Both of the winter sports areas above Brienz, Meiringen-Hasliberg and Axalp are perfect for skiers, carvers, snowboarders, winter walkers and sledgers. 20 lifts link the ski arena with 80 km of prepared pistes right up to 2,433 m, while the 15 km trail in the idyllic Gadmen Valley is a real insider tip for cross-country skiers. Snowshoe fans also have a good selection of well-marked trails to choose from, while new snow machines guarantee plenty of snow throughout the season.

Children

The Haslital has been awarded the quality seal “Families Welcome”. Children are introduced to skiing and snowboarding in a fun fashion in the Skihäsli and Axi Lands. Which still leaves time to build a snowman or to take a turn on the natural ice rink, while the SBB (Swiss Railways) Junior Card provides a discount of 10% on ski passes.

Wining and dining

Try one of our meringues – a delicious dessert first created in Meiringen, or gaze a while at the stunning 360° views from the Alpen tower panoramic restaurant (2,245 m). Combine a fun fondue with sledging, night skiing or a ride on a monster trottibike scooter for guaranteed fun and enjoyment!

Long live sport

Sport and exercise are a vital for harmony between body and soul. Sport stands for fun, games and excitement, which is why sport plays such an important role in the Haslital: skiing, snowboarding & telemarking – cross-country skiing – winter walking and sledging – snowshoeing – ice-skating – badminton and tennis in Meiringen’s alpine tennis centre – climbing in the Haslital climbing hall – guided ski tours and ice climbing – swimming – fitness training and health spas – “monster trotti” giant scooter rides.
