Neuchâtel is a university town with a rich cultural and architectural past.

Make the most of its excellent location surrounded by water and mountains and explore the cafes, the museums and pedestrian areas. Organise a guided tour of the medieval districts, of the castle and the collegiate church. There is also a tourist train that runs around the town during the summer. The town has many exceptional museums, for example the Art and History Museum, where you can see the famous puppets by Jacquet-Droz dating back to 1774: a scribe, an artist and a musician. Demonstrations take place on the first Sunday of every month.
