Bern's most frequented swimming pool is the "Marzili". As in all other municipal pools of Bern, no entrance fee is charged for swimming. In the separate open-air spaces "Paradiesli" and "Männerbad", women and men may sunbathe in the nude.
The swimming pool is in a scenic location close to the Federal Building. It boasts a paddling pool for tiny guests and a sports pool with 8 x 50 meter lanes, a pool for non-swimmers and a diving basin with 1-meter and 3-meter towers. In addition, there is a lawn for sun bathing.
