The hotel and panoramic restaurant on Rigi Kulm has been visited since 1816. The sunrise is breathtaking. Mark Twain was probably the most promient guest of the hotel, who - slept through the sunrise. This daily spectacle has attracted people even in the 18th and 19th centuries, who made their pilgrimage to the "Queen of the Mountains".
