The cog train takes you from lakeside plam trees to edelweiss mountain blooms in less than an hour. The 2,045 metre-high cirque offers spectacular views over Lake Geneva and the surrounding Alps. There are many activities on offer in Rochers-de-Naye for groups and individuals alike: explore "Marmot Paradise" or wander through the "Rambertia" alpine garden.
The cog railway from Montreux takes us up to four very special attractions at the top: a marmot sanctuary with seven enclosures for marmots from Asia, Europe and North America, the Rambertia botanical garden with more than 800 Alpines from all over the world, the Plein-Roc restaurant hewn into a rock face high above Montreux, plus the chance to spend a night in a yurt.
