The Jungfraujoch is Switzerland's most famous day trip. Travel up to Europe's highest railway station - you won't believe your eyes!
Lose all sense of direction as the little train travels deeper and deeper into the mountain. And suddenly it stops at the viewing holes looking straight onto the North Face of the Eiger. Further on, marvel at the sea of ice, while from the top, gaze at the row upon row of mountain peaks which lie before the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Alpine choughs dive deep down into the valleys of the Bernese Oberland, and on the other side, the mighty Aletsch glacier flows down towards Canton Valais. The views and the thin air at 3,571m will take your breath away. Visit the ice palace with its sculptures, take a trip on a dog sled or climb up to the Mönchsjoch Hut - all part of the mountain dream. Then take the little train back down the mountain, past the Lauberhorn and the Staubbach fall, and through dense forests and green meadows, to Interlaken.
This Railaway offer is bookable at the ticket windows in railroad stations, as well as via RailService (Phone 0900 300 300, at the rate of CHF 1.19 per minute), or at the tourist offices in the host cities. Find additional information here.
