In the valley where the ex-ski star Vreni Schneider started her amazing career, where the Swiss "Zitronenbrause" comes from, and where the famous Martinsloch is located, a magnificent biking area awaits discovery. In the region where slates and Ziegerstöckli are produced, one single trail follows after the other. Around you, the fascinating mountain giants of the Alps of Glarus are the backdrop of your tour. Elm awaits you!

From Elm 700 meters of difference in altitude over the Empächli to the mule track of Obererbs are expecting you. The whole ascent is accompanied by a unique panorama over the Tschingelhörner with Martinsloch, Voralp and Hausstock. Further, riding on the delicate ridge-way over to Obererbs, a good alp track takes you down to Steinibach. On the bottum of the valley the itinerary leads you along the little river Sernf back to the starting point Elm.
Natural phenonemon Martinsloch: Twice a year, on 12 th/ 13th March at 08.53 o'clock a.m. and on 30th September / 091st October around 08.33 o'clock a.m. the sun is shining thorugh the 20 m high rock window, direct on the village church.
