The deep blue Engstlensee is one of the most popular destinations for excursions in the Bernese Oberland. Engstlenalp is a special place of power and has become mythical. You will need "the power" for this tour. The edged mule tracks taking you from Innertkirchen through Gental to the lake are not at all easy. Only muscle power and technical skill will take you to a landscape of unique beauty.
