Engstligen-Loop

Select your Region:

The loop of Engstligen is a challenge even for well trained bikers. 57 km of distance and a 2 590 difference in altitude make your blood freeze in the veins even before you have attacked the first uphill. But the trefoil shaped round tour allows a stop at any time. The splendid landscape around Adelboden is a source of energy, and makes you forget your sore muscles. And there is fun. Many single tracks make this tour a real experience on two wheels.
Adelboden - Elsigbach - Elsigenalp - Bunderalp - Bunderle - Boden - Lurnig - Hahnenmoospass - Sillerenbühl - Stigelschwand - Tschentenegge - Adelboden.
The first ascent takes you up to the beautiful Elsigenalp and Bunderalp. After a dynamic downhill, the next uphill is waiting for you, leading you under the steep and impressive rocks of Rotstock, passing the Regenboldshorn to Hahnenmoospass. Sheer counter ascent and then a dashg down to Stiegelschwand. There, a last uphill to Tschentenegge waits to be conquered. The splendid but straining single track winds up through the forest up to a popular panoramic point, compensating with a good downhill back to Adelboden.
