On Route No. 7 through the Val de Travers

Fleurier - Val-de-Travers

Select your Region:
Fleurier - Val-de-Travers

The rocky landscape in the Upper Val de Travers is stunningly beautiful. One might say it is tailor-made for extensive discovery tours by mountain bike. The Chapeau de Napoleon - the landmark of the town of Fleurier - is the starting point for some especially attractive routes. Among them is Route 7, which takes you up to the French border. En route there are a very few hefty ascents. The single trails, which are strewn with limestone polished smooth by the elements, require good biking skills and make the tour a technical treat, especially on a wet surface.
