High over the Rhône valley on the sun flooded terrasse lies your destination of Villars-sur-Ollon. The bike tour takes you up to natural biotopes at Lac de Chavonnes, Lac de Bretaye and Lac Noir. The three mountin lakes are framed by the fantastic world of the mountains of the Alps of Waadt. Right on the top the Diablerets sit enthroned, and, in the distance, the Dents du Midi mark the boundary to the horizon. Depending on the season, alpine rhododendros, blueberries, frogs and cows provide a pastoral view and soundtrack while you ride across the countryside.
Villars-sur-Ollon - Col de Soud - Col de Bretaye (final station of the rack railways) - Lac de Bretaye - Lac Noir - Lac des Chavonnes - Vy Boveyre - Perche - Plan de la Chaux - L'Encrene - Ensex - Case de Charmet - Col de Soud - Villars-sur-Ollon.
From Villars up to Col de Breetaye and down to the lakes again. From Lac des Chavonnes the track ascends again, until L'Encrene. There, the journey takes you down and, at the feet of Col de Bretaye an uphill leads you to the track you know. On this tour, you will have to carry your bike, now and then. The route is well signed from Col de Bretaye on.
