The Portes du Soleil are to be found in the border region between Switzerland and France. The region's breathtaking countryside is crowned by the Dents du Midi, alpine meadows and a host of mountain lakes. So, too - and somewhat unsurprisingly - is the rich network of mountain biking trails. They're almost endless, in fact. There are plenty of mountain railways available for bikers wishing the train to take the strain out of the challenging ascents. The circuit itself leads to the vantage point of Pointe des Mossettes, the perfect spot to savour the delights of this biker's paradise in the Lower Valais. Enjoy some delightful discoveries!

Now there is a difficult ascent to Col de Cou, followed by the long descent to the Val de Barme. After La Vièze cross the river and then keep your eyes fixed in the direction of Planachaux. At Les Crosets take a leisurely ride up with the chairlift to Pointe des Mossettes and finally bike down the long descent back to Morgins.
