The heartland of Switzerland, where once upon a time the legendary Rütli Oath marked the beginning of the Swiss Confederation, nowadays mainly excursionists longing for pristine nature are gamboling and enjoying the scenery. In contrast to the Swiss inhabitants of those dearly days, today's visitors have an eye for the esthetics of this picturesque landscape. Here the deep-blue Lake Lucerne, the two Mythen mountains and the Rigi massif bid you welcome. The bike tour from Emmetten through the Brenn Forest to Seelisberg captivates more by its technical challenges than the countless wondrous views along the route. The tour begins in the vacation village of Emmetten and at first leads along the road in the direction of Seelisberg. Forest trails and simple single tracks define the trail sections that take you through the Brenn Forest up to Seelisberg. From there, the route runs for a short while along the cantonal road in the direction of Emmetten. At the Seeli mountain the route turns right and finally returns via the Brenn Forest to Emmetten.
