The wishes of all mountain bikers are met on the Tour du Mont-Fort - a unique experience! Moments of happiness and freedom in the high mountains.
The 50km distance can be conquered by trained non-professionals bikers. One should be experienced in cycling on gravel and mountain roads. The climbs stretch for a total of 6 km, mainly on unpaved mountain tracks. The high point of the tour, in both meanings of the word, is reached by cable lift. In this way one reaches an altitude of 2,894 m without difficulty. The descent from Col des Gentianes, with it's view of Mont-Blanc, forms one of the strong points of this tour, but is also the most demanding stretch.

The first ascent is with the cable car to Tracouet, followed by a descent by bicycle to Siviez. A chair lift and a cable car take the cyclists with their bikes to Col des Gentianes - at a respectable height of 2,894 m. This is followed by a long descent as far as Verbier. After this there is another ascent, with the last cable car of the day. There is also a short cut here, avoiding Verbier. From Savoleyres we take on the last stage via la Tzoumaz back to Haute-Nendaz.
