Quiet forests, idyllic villages and vantage points with stunning views define the bike tour through the Aargau and Jura. The historic highlight is the Zähringer town of Rheinfelden, which boasts an intact Old Town that can�t wait to be explored. Beginners will derive as much pleasure from this circuit through North-West Switzerland as experienced bikers do. Wide and easy forest and field trails tend to dominate the first part of the route. Afterwards, enjoy the complete contrast of the multiple stages of the downhill section from the Sissacher Fluh to Rheinfelden via the Hersberg. We�re talking brilliant rollercoaster trails here which wind their way through the forest, banish the stresses and strains of the daily grind, and leave you gasping for more.
Rheinfelden - Magden - Maisprach - Rickenbacher-Höchi - Sissacher Fluh - Rheinfelden
From the Rheinfelden Train Station bike through the viaduct on the hiking trail in the direction of Magden. Continue on the hiking trail via Belchenblick to Madgen, then take the main road to Maisprach. In Maisprach follow the hiking trail to Rickenbacher-Höchi. After 100 meters remain on the small tarred road. Then leave the hiking trail and bike in the directionof Wohnheim Matrusaden (Matrusaden hostel). Subsenquently follow the hiking trail leading to Richenbacher Hoechi again. Over there continue biking in the direction of Wintersingerhöchi up to Sissacher Fluh. Subsequently, follow the hiking trail with the red triangle to Rheinfelden. Finally, return from Belchenblick to Rheinfelden Train Station.
