Aigle is the home of the world's bike sports association UCI. There must be a bike tour here in honour of this fact. Indeed there is! Through the valley of Grande Eau, flowing down the massif of Diablerets to the Rhône, a fantastic tour awaits you. Excellent brakes are more than required on the downhill from Leysin to Aigle. Pure muscle strength well be expected on the slope to Le Sepey and later to Leysin. The landscape is special: Vinyards and deep gorges have to be to be passed, before going back to Leysin, and passing panoramic heights.
Leysin - Aigle - Le Sépey - Leysin.
The tour is well signed. It is leading from the Sports Centre, i.e. the Tourist Office through the vinyards down to Aigle. There, the track ascends to the right of the brook Grande Eau towards Le Sépey. Follow the pass street to Col des Mosses further to the bending to Mosses. The downhill to the left, takes you to the little street passing the area of Fers and back to Leysin.
