The Grand Raid is considered to be the longest and most difficult mountainbike tour in the world. The tour from Verbier to Grimentz via Hérémence, Evolène, Thyon-les-Colons, Veysonnaz, Nendaz and La Tzoumaz leads through six valleys, is 131 kilometers long and has a 4600 meter difference in altitude. The highest point, Basset-de-Lona, is 2792 meters above sea level. Top physical fitness and perfectly fitting and functioning material are the basic preconditions for the successful completion of this "torture tour". You will be rewarded with fame, having completed something extraordinary and by the fantastic landscapes of the alpine world of Wallis.

Croix-de-Coeur - La Tzoumaz - Collons - Mandelon - Evolène - Pas-de-Lona - Lac de Lona - Basset-de-Lona -Grimentz
Bike uphill from Verbier to Crois-de-Coeur , then roll down to La Tzoumaz. Then up again to Collons and down to Hérémence. A difficult ascent and a technique-wise challenging downhill from Mandelon to Evolène follows. Now bike up to Pas-de-Lona and down to Lac de Lona. Subsequently bike up to the highest point, the Basset-de-Lona and finally descend to Grimentz.
