Les Pléiades - Les Paccots - Châtel-St.-Denis - Vevey

The downhill ride begins on the terrace of Les Pléiades, a well-known vantage point, and continues via the eastern slope down to Petit Caudon. On the other side of the valley you will first ride on fairly flat terrain, later on you will be schussing down to Les Paccots. From the ski village of Les Paccots the route continues to La Frasse and from here further down to Châtel-St.-Denis. Here the Pléiades-Downhill leads into Route No. 9 of the Swiss iking paradise. After all, Switzerland is -Veloland-. The velo-signposts of Route 9 define the rest of the tour. First comes a moderate uphill ride before it's full throttle down to Lake Geneva, or Lac Léman, as it is called here.
