Over 100 km of walking paths and an intact countryside are an incentive to spend pleasant hours out in the open and enjoy the incomparable beauty of the Sils lake landscape. There are numerous picnic areas and vantage points, including, e.g., our favourite barbecue area (firewood is always provided) located in a picturesque bay on the Chastè peninsula, where there is ample opportunity to amuse yourself. It is located right by the lake and you can go for a refreshing swim if you wish. Furthermore we offer a variety of activities such as sleeping on straw, "pirate party by the lake", "Heidi visit in Grevasalvas" as part of the Upper Engadine holiday fun programme. A walk to the car-free Fex Valley (Fextal) can be combined with a visit to an alpine pasture with cattle or cows, and it might be possible to ride back in a horse-drawn carriage.
