Walk and learn...The Flower Trail from the Hahnenmoos Pass to Sillerenbühl provides interesting and informative insights into the Alpine flora. The plant information notices are regularly updated to fit with the flowers currently in bloom.

The National Arboretum, the only one of its kind in Switzerland, is a huge park where different species and varieties of trees and shrubs are displayed in collections. These specimens come from all continents and have been able to acclimatise to our region.

The cave system, formerly the supposed abode of a dragon, is now easily accessible. Visitors can easily enter the caves and admire such special things as the Reflecting Grotto, where stalactites are reflected in the placid pool of water that fills the cave. Or see the "Koh-i-noor", a mighty stalactite, at least 40,000 years old, or the subterranean water fall.

The "Archera Biela" nature trail with its cultivated fields, meadows, rocky steppes and more. The trail reveals exceptional and rare flora.

On a sunny high plateau (at 1,480 meters above sea level) one finds Birkendorf Bürchen. During an easy two-hour hike from Bürchen to Zeneggen, you will find the squirrel trail and the didactic forest trail, where you can learn many important and interesting things about these two topics.

The San Grato Park with an area of 62,000 square meters is home to the largest and most diverse collection of azaleas, rhododendrons and pine trees in this almost subtropical region.
