The upper Lauterbrunnen valley is known both for its waterfalls and its
rich natural and cultural heritage. Its many treasures are now easily
accessible thanks to a new theme trail which comes with info tables,
sign posts, one hotspot, flyers and guided hikes.
Sign posts, original pictograms and a topical flyer show the way to
some of the most important sites in this nature preserve, which has
been declared a UNESCO World Heritage region. In 2005, the first themes
included in the trail will be waterfalls, Alpine agriculture,
spiritually energizing sites, and mountain hotels.
