Excursions 
The small zoo "al Maglio" is located on the shady bank of the
Magliasina. It is well suited to children because the animals may be petted and fed. Picnics are permitted.

How to get there:
- By car: The zoo is located at the main traffic artery leading to the Italian border in Ponte Tresa.
- By train: Depart from Lugano with the train of the Lugano -Ponte Tresa line (opposite the main train station) Upon arrival in Magliaso, it's a 10 minute walk to the Zoo.
