Marmots are sociable, clever and cheerful creatures.
A walk along the well-prepared, approximately 3 km long walking path from the Leiterli mountain inn to the Stoss mountain inn on the Betelberg gives hikers a fun and easy opportunity to discover the world of marmots. 500 metres below the Leiterli summit station observant hikers can make an unexpected discovery: a true replica of a marmot burrow. The educative underground network is of particular interest to children, families and schools.
