Come to Lausanne and discover one of Europe's largest living reptile collections!
Did you know that Lausanne boasts one of Europe's largest living reptile collections open to the public? The Lausanne Vivarium is located close to the Sauvabelin wood and gives visitors an opportunity to discover the diversity of reptiles and their secret life, their little-known habits and relatively unknown strange beauty.
You can observe over a hundred different species from all over the world. The vivarium houses snakes, lizards, crocodiles, tortoises, amphibians, scorpions, tarantulas and their predators: fennecs, birds of prey... Every animal here is living in conditions that are similar to its natural environment.

Opening hours:
All year round, except the 1st January.

How to get there:
By car: take the motorway, exit at Lausanne - Vennes, then follow signs for Sauvebelin.
By public transport: take bus line 14, alighting at Le Mont.
