Individual trail sections (time required from 40 minutes to 2 hours) are linked with 8 harbors, one mountain railway and three train stations. This enables you to adjust the length of the walk every day to your level of fitness. Countless opportunities for a swim and barbecue areas as well as fun shelters further enhance the trail, which wends its way along the spectacular Urnersee (Lake Urnen). The trail is easy to hike - for grandparents as well. And as you glide across the lake on a steam boat you might hear a grandfather telling the story of his schooltrip in the year 19... to the Rütli.
