An imposing water spectacle is offered by the Choleren gorge. The 100m long rock gorge is accessible via a system of walkways and steps, guaranteeing a safe visit. Important repairs have been carried out in June 2004.

At Choleren gorge you won't only find an impressive waterfall. You will also see numerous watermills and rocks polished by the water flow. An excursion to Choleren gorge can be comfortably combined with a visit to Pochtenkessels - a deep rocky funnel where the Engstligen and Otterebach waters meet.

The "Fountain of Youth" invites you for a dip!

Tip:
The Alpine School Adelboden offers regular abseiling adventures in the Choleren gorge during summer.
