Ristis (1600 m above sea level) is the starting point of this newly created hiking trail. You may start the hike at this point, or hike on the Brunni nature trail via Hütismatt to Rosenbold (1863 m a.s.l.). Another starting point of your hiking tour is the Brunni Hut (1860 m a.s.l.) which can be easily reached by cable car from Ristis. It runs at the same altitude past the idyllic "Härzlisee" to Alp Rosenbold.

Take in once more a sweeping view of the magnificent Engelberg mountains before you descend to the Walenalp (1667 m a.s.l.). A large Swiss family campsite (water and wood available on site) and the vista deep into the Mitteland beckon you to tarry awhile.
