The Hahnenmoos Pass, the historic route between Adelboden and Lenk, has stunning views of the Wildstrubel-Wildhorn massif and of the Obersimmental valley. But it gets even better. The entrance to the high alpine "Lowa-Weg" or Lowa Path, straight across the flower-strewn mountain meadows appears to be quite tame. Till you find yourself standing before the vertical North Face of the 2613 meter high Ammertenspitz.


Other attraction: Fixed-rope route
Climbing is on the agenda, but only with a guide: through the rock face, iron steps lead upwards - this is the Aeugi fixed-rope route. Whether your legs are trembling after the exertion of the ascent or not - you will in any case want to sit down once you reach the top, in order to enjoy the view of glaciers, crags, rocks, and frothing waterfalls of the Wildsturbel massif, which form such a striking contrast to the friendly, green Simmental valley. A truly memorable experience!
No mountaineering skills are necessary, but you must be sure of foot, not prone to dizziness, not afraid of heights and have all the required mountaineering gear. Guided tours are offered.
