This tour is ideally combined with a small river cruise on the Rhone: the ship travels in about an hour and 15 minutes from Quai des Moulins to the dam at Verbois (the hiking route description on the map shows the entire Geneva - Verbois hiking route). From there, a 30 minute stroll to the wine-making village of Russin follows. Take the train back to Geneva (there's a train going in the opposite direction as well!)

Other attraction: The head offices of the United Nations and the International Red Cross are located in Geneva The city of Geneva lies in the heart of a pristine natural landscape. But even within the limits of the city, along the lake with its famous water fountain and through the picturesque Old Town, promenading and strolling around is a pleasure. As soon as night falls over the city, vibrant multi-cultural city life can no longer be held in check. And the festivities and the food let you know that you are nearly in France here.
