The hike from Lausanne through the vineyards of Lavaux to Vevey has first class views. Lac Léman shimmers in the foreground, reflecting the mighty mountains of the Savoy on its surface. The route leads mostly on tarred vineyard paths, through picturesque wine-growing villages to the town of Vevey.
The terraced vineyards of Lavaux are one of the highlights of this extraordinary hiking tour. In the midst of it all lie the charming wine-growing villages with their zig-zag lanes and cosy wine cellars.
