The trail begins at the Mont Fort cabin, where the party spends the night in order to leave at the crack of dawn.
The path crosses masses of fallen rocks and several fresh, green areas. After a few aerial passages (using chains) the trail leads you to Col Termin, a real gateway to the kingdom of the ibex and a magnificent point from which to view the surrounding massifs. The trail then takes you gently down to the Louvie cabin with its sunny terrace before descending Fionnay once more.
The careful planning of a hiking tour will ensure that you also derive the maximum pleasure and enjoyment from it. Please take the time to contact the local information centre and enquire about route and weather conditions before setting off. Your intended hiking trail may be fully or partially closed, depending on the time of year and weather conditions.
