The Vogellisi Path is a varied mountain path that not only runs through a unique landscape but also has several surprises in store for you.
As you walk along this "Wunderweg" (wonder path) you come across strange formations created by nature, works of art and mythological creatures - the perfect symbiosis of landscape and art created by the local Adelboden artists Erika Pieren, Björn Zryd and Jürg Gyger. The 1 3/4-hour long route starts at Bergläger, the middle station of the Adelboden-Silleren cableway, at an altitude of 1 486m above sea level, and takes you past mountain streams, Alpine meadows full of flowers and magnificent vantage points to the Sillerenbühl (1 978m above sea level), the summit station of the Adelboden-Silleren cableway.
The careful planning of a hiking tour will ensure that you also derive the maximum pleasure and enjoyment from it. Please take the time to contact the local information centre and enquire about route and weather conditions before setting off. Your intended hiking trail may be fully or partially closed, depending on the time of year and weather conditions.
