Pizolhütte - Wangsersee - Pizolhütte - Wildseeluggen - Schottensee - Schwarzsee - Baseggla - Baschalvasee - Gaffia

The 5-lakes walk actually begins in Wangs near Bad Ragaz. From there you go up in the cable-car to Furt and then on two chairlifts up to the Pizol mountain hut. The Wangsersee marks the start of the hike. After the first climb up through bizarre rock formations, you glimpse the Wildsee, surrounded by rubble and boulders. Next on the list is the deep blue Schottensee, with a magnificent panoramic view behind it, extending from the Glarner Alps to the Churfirsten range. Next you pass the dark Schwarzsee. A last climb leads up to the rather mysterious geo-park. Soon you come to the green Baschalvasee, and then a last descent leads down to the Gaffia Alp.
