The protected Val Frisal is a 3-km long high valley situated at 1,900 m above sea level. Traversed by enchanting meandering rivulets, it is home to high moors with rare flora and fauna.

Right through the picturesque Albula valley from Preda down to Bergün 2.5 hours (or the other way...), past fascinating civil engineering structures of the Rhaetian Railway. Information plaques situated at prominent vantage points explain the construction and route of the roller-coaster-like railway line.
The signposted trail will soon continue on to Filisur and will also be completed by the railway and local museum in Bergün.

An interesting valley hiking tour through the picturesque Lower Engadine awaits. The route leads from the spa resort of Scuol past the mighty Tarasp Castle to picturesque Ardez.
