A simple, harmonious structure, the Bains des Pâquis melt discreetly into the countryside around the harbour. Backing onto the jetty, the pools enable bathers to enjoy the view over the town, while the beaches look out onto the whole lake. The spa is on the right bank of the lake and is open all year round: in summer the pools and the pump room are open and there is an entertainment programme. In winter, the sauna, the Turkish baths and steam baths are open.

It is not unusual to see locals meeting around the beautiful 18th century fountain surrounded by flowers, or on the terrace of a picturesque bistro, La Clémence for example.

The scene of many an important event, "Lipp" is more than a brasserie: it is a frame of mind, an excuse to meet people... It is the sister of the other Brasserie Lipp in Paris, and is a meeting place for the whole of Geneva. The good home-cooking, reminiscent of the provinces, is marketed as an attraction. Open 7 days a week, from midday to midnight, the unusual atmosphere is to be enjoyed.
