The oak-panelled parquet flooring is in captivating contrast to the cream-white walls, and the wine cupboards are aesthetically integrated into a wall of French limestone. Large suspended lamps of opal glass provide soft, soothing lighting. Surfaces, table insets and decorations are of onyx, horn and slate. The restaurant's name is derived from the semi-precious stone used extensively in the manufacture of high-quality porcelain.
