The Château de la Bâtiaz was built in 1260 and is the only remaining witness to the medieval era. It was an object of envy, and passed from the House of Savoie to the Sion bishops (and vice versa) many times. Dishes influenced by medieval flavours are served during the summer season.

This building dates back to 1609. "Vidomnes" (administrative representatives of the bishop of Sion) used to live here. A stone plaque above the ancient door is engraved with the coat of arms of the bishop François-Joseph Supersaxo. the building was restored in 1964 and is now a restaurant.

The restaurant is situated in a house (La Grand'Maison) dating back to the beginning of the 16th century, which became a hotel in the 17th century. Fondue, raclette, and "Valaisan plate" (dried meat, cured sausages, cheese, smoked ham and cured bacon) are just some of the specialties served.

A typical cellar with a vaulted ceiling, storing regional wines and Valaisan specialties. It is also possible to visit the windmill next door, one of the oldest known industrial mills in Switzerland.

In a rustic setting and with its exceptional location in the middle of a vineyard, the restaurant has a terrace offering a bird's-eye view of Martigny (although it is only 5 minutes away by car) and serves Valaisan specialties and brisolée in autumn.

Refined cuisine based on local produce is served in a pleasant wood-panelled room with views over Martigny and the Rhône valley.

Oriental delicacies, a cheerful welcome and an excellent quality / price ratio await guests.
