The lake is easy to reach: by chairlift from Kandersteg. and then a short 20-minute walk. In summer it is warm enough to swim in; or you could simply enjoy the unique flora and fauna around the lake with anything to a gentle stroll to invigorating hikes with breathtaking alpine views.
