Meiringen (Bernese Oberland)
Cliff-face cleaners in the Aare gorge
Every spring, mountain guides inspect the cliffs in the Aare gorge; lose rocks above the walkway are removed. 12,000 people visited the Aare gorge in 1888 alone!

We'll do everything possible to ensure not a single stone lands on visitors' heads whilst they walk through the gorge.

Arosa (Graubünden)
Reserved for cows after 19:00 hrs
A special rule now applies in Arosa: individual parts of the golf course cannot be played after 19:00 hrs - they are then given over exclusively to grazing cows. The enlargement of the green from 9 to 18 holes would not have been possible without making concessions.

We'll do everything possible to ensure your golf course is cared for naturally.

Schweiz / Suisse / Switzerland (Switzerland)

We'll do everything possible to ensure you trek safely from valley to summit and back again.

Sembrancher (Valais)
Smooth skin thanks to Edelweiss
Every year, the Valplantes Association, 150 farmers in the Val de Bagnes, produces 10 tonnes of Edelweiss for the cosmetics industry... and to alleviate stomach ache. A Basel-based pharmaceuticals company uses the flower for anti-wrinkle cream.

We'll do everything possible to ensure your skin and nature remain healthy.
