The "Fryburg stras" was already used in mediaeval times, by pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela as paintings in the chapels in and around Tafers depict. Walking through the peaceful Sense area on a picturesquely paved path, you soon arrive in Fribourg, one of the stations along the route, and home to the pilgrim's chapel, Notre Dame de Bourguillon.
