Saanen/Gstaad is the start of an adventurous trip across the language border and into the French-speaking holiday destination of Pays d'Enhaut. On the river Saane you will travel through the gorges of Vanel and Gérignoz to Château-d'Oex. 15 km of beautiful rafing. Intermediate difficulty, May to August.

The upper part of the Saane is a temperamental alpine river with rapids, boils and waves. The two gorges of Vanel and Gérignoz provide an adrenalin kick: the heart beats faster and the commands of the experienced rafting guide become more definite! And then – peaceful drifting downstream again… Cows on paddocks, beautiful alpine panorama and a cruisy river section. Another paddle stroke – done! It was incredible!
