The source of the Rhine
Flowing out of Lake Toma, the Rhine covers an impressive distance of 1,324km, before entering the sea as a mighty river. The hikes around its idyllic source are far shorter and extremely picturesque.
Benedictine monastery
Visible from afar, the monastery at Disentis dominates the valley at the start of the climb to the Lukermanier pass. The museum provides interesting background information about the cultural legacy of the monastery.
